Whether you are a type A or type B personality, it most definitely
plays into decision making of your next vacation ! For the most part, type A’s like to organize
& plan early !
The cruise lines expressed, in our Cruises Inc conference
last November … Their future plans are for more focus on the early committers ! Meaning … The plans are for the early birds to
receive a BIGGER worm !
If you’ve yet to notice all the amenities these cruise
lines are offering in booking early, then you’re truly MISSING THE BOAT. Whether it’s onboard credit, drink packages,
dining packages, shore excursions or even gratuities included.
Like the cruises lines expressed, folks who wait to buy
last minute, won’t actually be getting these added values that were offered to
folks who buy early ! And with the plan
of filling the ships quicker with this philosophy, who knows what will be left
for the folks who are last minute (?).
But even if these amenities don’t fill up the ships, lower rates won’t necessarily
bring the bulk of the value !
Years back, booking early was about receiving the lower
rates. Though that still stands somewhat
true, there will always be dates that are not selling or a few left over
cabins, where folks can get the lower pricing by waiting till last minute. But again, lower rates won’t necessarily mean
added value !
In our company, we buy lots of space with lower
rates. I preach over and over, buy early
if you want our special rates. Do many folks
miss the boat ? Not the early birds …
But yes, the last minute buyers ! We
sell out quick, since we are also providing the cruises for most of the
internet companies … To the early birds ! If you didn't know we have this space ... You know now !
So no matter what the late buyers think, many a great
savings has been lost, even in the past, by waiting last minute. With last minute folks, we most often have no
alternative than to only have available … The current rates at the cruise lines
!
And though the cruise lines have been sweetening the pot
with all these extra amenities for the early birds … The early birds have
actually been banking into more savings than these late callers, for YEARS !
So unless you change the way you think …. In when you
should buy your vacation … Your added value may not change on the home front
! It’s all in the way you choose to
think ! And … What YOU think are the
added values !
FYI … I’m already
booking 2017 … Though most cruise lines are not even offering added value
amenities for 2017 sailings !
