In an effort to further separate themselves from others in the Luxury Cruise Industry, Silversea has added luxury furnishings including flat screen televisions, an open bar and butler service to lifeboats aboard Silversea's fleet. Stephan Alport, the designer of these new luxury appointed lifeboats quipped that "Silversea will treat distressed guests better than most cruise lines treat their guests."
