Norwegian Cruise Line became the 4th major cruise line to decrease its 2010 Alaska sailings. NCL said it planned to remove the 2,002 passenger Norwegian Sun from its Alaska rotation next summer.
This is another reason to choose to cruise in Alaska in 2009 ! There are some great deals still available, to include cruise/tours. I have been to Alaska 10 times and have planned a 2 week back-to-back August 23 on Holland America's Veendam. As you can probably guess, my favorite place to cruise is Alaska.
